As much as possible the supports and services we provide are developed by you, for you.

Can GROW support you to get ready for the NDIS?

Yes, we will support you to check your eligibility and register to access the NDIS. We can also assist you to prepare for your first meeting to create your NDIS Plan. 

This assistance may include supporting you to:

  • Understand the NDIS
  • Decide on your short term and long term goals
  • Gather reports, assessments and information that will assist your planning

We provide a broad range of supports that you can access based on your individual needs and goals as you move to the NDIS. These services includes Supported Independent Living, Therapeutic Supports, Participate in the Community, Household Tasks, Daily Tasks/Shared Living, Assist-Personal Activities, Accommodation/Tenancy,  Counselling Services, Victim Support, Community Support, Food Parcels & Advocacy, NDIS Client Home Visit Support Services, 24hr Support for Suicidal Clients.

Supported Independent Living

SIL accommodation provides assistance with and/or supervising tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, with a focus on developing the skills of each individual to live as independently as possible.

We provide participants with the everyday support they need to safely and successfully achieve their goals. Supported Independent Living  (SIL) services include everything from assisting with personal care, coordinating and providing transport to medical appointments, meal prep, and finding ways to get involved in the community. 

Therapeutic Supports

As part of this support service we will work with our participants to deliver therapeutic supports including behaviour support, help with household tasks that allow the participant to maintain their home environment.

This assistance may also include help to a participant by skilled personnel in aids or equipment assessment, set up and training.

Participate in the Community

As part of this support service we will work with our participants to join in and participate in community and social activities.

Our staff will work with participants who are eligible for this support stream to develop their social & community participation goals.

Our staff assists in maintaining contact with friends and family and make sure that there are a range of recreational activities.

Household Tasks

As part of this support service we will work with our participants to enable the participant to maintain their home environment.

This may involve undertaking essential household tasks that the participant is not able to undertake.

Changing linen, Washing the floors, Cleaning the bath or shower, Vacuuming and dusting, Shopping, Meal preparation, Hanging out the washing, Lawn mowing, Or more as per agreement

Daily Tasks/Shared Living

As part of this support service we will work with our participants to assist with and or supervise personal tasks of daily life to enable the participant to live as independently as possible.

These supports are provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including but not limited to, the participant’s own home.

Assist-Personal Activities

As part of this support service we will work with our participants to support their personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming, toileting, eating and drinking, attending appointments, use of aids and appliances.

Accommodation/Tenancy

As part of this support service we will work with our participants in providing assistance with accommodation and tenancy obligations.

This may include support to guide, prompt, or undertake activities to ensure the participant obtains or retains appropriate accommodation.
